Lethe

Nor skin nor hide nor fleece
shall cover you,
nor curtain of crimson nor fine sheltered cedar
be over you,
nor the firm quilt

nor the firmament of stars
nor the blue sky of day
nor the white cloud
nor the soft rain
nor the falling snow
shall cover you.

Not the wild music

诗歌赏析

《奥瑞德》(Oread)

这首仅六行的短诗是意象派的完美范例。"奥瑞德"是希腊神话中的山林仙女,但诗中没有叙事、没有解释——只有海浪与松树的意象叠加。H.D. 将大海比作松林("pointed pines"),又将松林比作海浪("hurl your green over us"),两个意象在互相渗透中创造出一种既原始又精致的自然体验。这首诗最初以 "Oread" 为题发表于1914年的《诗刊》(Poetry),成为意象派最常被选录的作品之一。

《海伦》(Helen)
